The top mount at the front is rubber - forces applied to the wheel like cornering or bumps in the road will cause this to deflect and change the wheel geometry. Any upgrades in this part? There is a ring bearing that sits under this to alow the spring seat to rotate when you steer - is this a set of ball bearings in a race or just 2 sliding rings? Does it get sticky/dry etc and hinder steering? I ask because when I removed my top washers and nuts to inspect the rubber bushings I sprayed some WD40 down the threaded bit and after reassembly the steering seemed to feel lighter and also seemed more keen on recentering itself on the motorway.
