I have a few threads scattered thoughout regarding my racecar project so it is time to pull it all together.
We have sprint circuit racing here in Australia so I thought we should have a 900 to represent the marque. There is a 99 currently racing so adding a 900 will keep it company. Sprint circuit racing is over a bitumin sealed road course of around 1000 metres. Starting from a standing start competitors are timed over the course and fastest wins. There are a number of classes based on engine size and car type plus overall fastest.
I have started with a 1989 900 Aero and will strip down to its underwear, put extra muscle into the engine and go and have some fun. I want to keep the exterior very standard 900 Aero, black without the usual sponsors stickers.
These are photos of the sart of the process. I have all but stripped the interior and have stripped the engine bay and have it ready to reinstall the bits.
INTERIOR - Will not run with the vacuum cleaner but will run without about 100kgs of wire.

I have a new front mount intercooler, T3/T4 turbo, cold air intake through a vent in the guard and all the usual go fast mods. More detail to come as I go.
