I'm not sure if this is the right forum but i know that this is the most active. I work for ML and saw this was published by them. Don't know how much truth there is to it . . .

thanks for the link. i just wonder why they didn't include Saab 9-2 anywhere, though it's obviously due to come out soon. Tough to say about Saab SUV - other rumors say that GM executives are afraid to go into SUVs with Saab.

yeah thats what i was thinking of also . . . the 9-2 should have been there. It would be interesting to see the SUV though. (I personally hope that they dont enter the SUV market)

what's this about a Saab Sonnet? sounds kinda cheap to me. . . you know, sounds likda like allegra, maxima, etc. no disrepsect to any of these cars, obviously (perhaps I shouldn't say cheap), but i kinda like names like 9-3 Vector and (00 convertible, etc. sounds classier to me.

yea, i hope GM doesn't go naming Saabs like it does all its other stuff. that would suck. Saab should keep to its "number/letter" combo, as it always has... it may be quirky, but i love it! :)
'Sonett' is a name that has been used in all previous incarnations of Saab sportscar. Take a look at the Saab Museum website: http://www.saabmuseum.co.uk/

You are not a true Saabophile, then! A new SAAB (engineered and designed - not GM!) Sonett would bring more life into Saab than ANYTHING GM could throw at them... not to mention that the classic Sonetts IMO are some of the most innovative and beautiful cars ever!
The other thing that struck me is the 9-5 Vert and Coupe that they have listed there...

A new Sonnet would rock! I also think that's a great name for a car.

yes, i'm not a true Saabophile, sorry... I've come to discover Saab when the new 9-3 came out. I wasn't much of a fan before, although I always noted and respected Saabs on the roads. sorry for my ignorance

Admittedly, my current Saab is also my first, but I have loved Saabs since I was little! That's why the board is here...learn things we never knew and share info!

And the Pontiac Solstice is coming on line too??!! I think I may move away from Saab for a while... Hopefully they'll put the 210hp 2.0T from the 9-3 and put that in the RWD Solstice, but it may have a supercharged 250hp 2.2 Ecotec...
