Has anyone tuned their 97X 5.3 or added a CAI? If so what products did you use and how are the results?

I tuned my wife's 9-7x using HP tuners. I mostly just changed some of the shift settings and worked on tip in throttle response.
It drives much nicer than it did before, and the mileage went up 2-3mpg as well.
Ooops, I just saw that you were asking about the 5.3i, and we have the 4.2i.

HP tuners www.hptuners.com (http://www.hptuners.com) is a company that sells tuning software for gm vehicles primarily. They are able to program mostly the LSx series of engines, which the 5.3l and 4.2l found in the 9-7x are included. It is software that allows the individual to tune for themselves. This is good and bad. If you know what you are doing, or take your time, you can really maximize your gains.
