My first post here on the "Sedan" Forum :! :cheesy:
I've installed an A/F ratio gauge on my 900 - the three wires are for:
- +12v positive - preferably off your dash lights, that way they will dim
- Earth/negative - loads of those behind the dash
- Signal wire from the lambda sensor
Be warned though, if you are using the standard lambda sensor, the gauge will only be good as an indication of your A/F ratio outside STOICH (stoichiometric range) i.e. it can't tell you by how much you are lean or rich - just that you are. You'll need a (very expensive) wideband sensor if you want it to be precise.
A/F gauges do look quite cool tho :! 8)

Sorry small correction: If you only have three wires then connect the red wire to a switched +12v rather than to the dash lighting. The A/F gauge normally doesn't have any facia lights other than the display LEDs :!
red - switched +12v
black - earth/negative
blue - lambda signal.
