jsp offers staninless as well, but you dont get a cat... i would suggest having a local garage make one for you itll be cheaper if you install it yourself
Workmanship is the biggest difference when it comes to the materials. The biggest cost in Nicks downpipe I see is the attention to detail and the materials (stainless steel and metal racing cat). When I pulled mine out of the box it looked like a showpiece. Worth the 551 dollars if you ask me. Also everything lined up perfectly and it moves the front o2 sensor to the top of the downpipe which aids in that sensor reacing operating temp quicker and better readings.
GS just came out with a new DP thats all stainless and 3inches to the muffler and comes with the stainless flex pipe, kinda pisses me off that they now include a stainless flexpipe and are offering the first version for $445 now but id deff go GS.
Is there a significant difference between Version 1 and Version 2? I didn't notice anything major. The pipe looks the same, but I'm not an expert in this field. Anyone have any info about the new pipe?
I do know one thing, it's going to be harder to justify the quality of the Version 1 now with it's lowered price over the JSP version. GS may be making another sale.
oh. yes, that's right...just got an email back from GS. the new 2nd pc wont fit with the old dp. i was wonderin coz, w/my custom 3" exhaust, we had to leave a piece of the flex pipe in...the flexy part...but i guess since the dp's got it's own section of flex, i can prolly go back and eliminate that part.

You will get a hp and tq boost. Should be right around 7-10hp and 5-8tq. The main thing you will get is a MAJOR decrease in the time it takes to spool! Trust me that alone is worth it.
no it will help decrease the lag, here and there...but until u have a tuned ecu the power gain is not near as significant....but totally worth it, and great start to building up ur car (must have)
