I did some research into this a while ago and found a guy whos name I can't remember but he was telling me that you can buy a 3.5 plate with a switch and wire it into the telephone mute button but the quality is not there and it runs the risk of kaboom. given the quality of saab wiring I chose not to do this but it can be done and there is supposedly another way by soldering a chip from a parrot phone device onto the radio itself giving almost full quality but the kaboom scares me. Let me know if you do find an easier and safer way to add a jack because living in LA the fm transmitters suck!!!
wow, after everything I've read about how difficult it is to get an aux attached, I'd definetly say its worth the money to just get this adapter. Thanks for the link
