After a couple weeks, a new throttle cable, and an hour of humiliation, I've determined that this whole time my issue of my idle getting stuck at around 5k was due to the IAC. The reason that this wasn't looked into initially is becasue I had replaced it before when my idle was bouncing up and down.
The problem now is, I've tried two different units to correct the problem (including the one originally on, just cleaned) yet neither work UNLESS I disconnect the power from them. Does anyone have any idea why this may be? I have a feeling that the answer is going to bring another hour or so of embarassment and humiliation. Thanks.
(By the way, since disconnecting the power temporarily corrected the idle sticking issue, I was FINALLY able to test out the new found power from the exhaust. Enough said.)
