A heads up to anyone considering doing business with Chatham Sinclair. I sent the guy a significant sum of money via paypal in response to a classified here on SaabCentral for parts he was selling from a wrecked '97 and he never sent the parts and refuses to communicate. His email is cookinspg@yahoo.com, and he also runs the Snail Speed Car Club.
Also would like to give a heads-up of my own about redlinegoods.com if someone is considering a shift boot from them...I got the product eventually so it's not exactly a scam, but they made false promises and cut off communication once I called them out for their lies.
This is my personal opinion that this is not the appropriate means to handle this. You paid via paypal and therefore have buyer protection I belive, unless that is reserved for ebay purchases, however I still believe you can open a claim.
Please do realise that sometimes there are events outside of your knowledge preventing communication or the ability to recieve the message. Not saying thats the case here for certain but just a reminder. However a quick reply would be helpful in your case from Mr. Sinclair but we as people don't always think of what a good idea a quick reply is when things are busy.
I've attempted communication via cell phone, email, and filed a claim through Paypal over the course of the last 5 weeks. Its obviious at this point that the guy ripped me off. He continues to advertise through the classifieds here, I'm merely spreading a word of caution.

Thanks for the heads up on Saabnet. I'm just tired of this, its the first time I've been burned buying something on the Internet after years of doing so. Just beware, the guy is not honest and he's looking to have others finance his Saab project.
a reminder to all, have people post the item as a buy it now on ebay if possible
