On the same wavelength - Audio systems

You can choose between three Saab Audio Systems, all developed to suit the Saab 9-5. They can be operated by buttons in the steering wheel and can be supplemented with hands-free for a mobile phone.

All three systems feature automatic volume compensation as the car speed varies.

In the two more advanced units, the amplifier’s frequency response is tailored to each pair of speakers. Furthermore, there is a centre front speaker to fill out the sound profile.

Climate control

With the Saab 9-5 Automatic Climate Control (ACC), you only need to set the climate once. The system then maintains the same temperature all the year round.

The Saab 9-5 has a dual-zone climate unit, allowing the passenger and driver to set different temperatures.

The electrostatic cabin air filter can be supplemented with a carbon filter that removes unpleasant gases from the incoming air

For added comfort, the front seats can be specified with both heating and ventilation.

Driving comfort

There is also the option of electrically operated front seats. The driver’s seat has a memory for three different settings and includes adjustment of the door mirrors.

Furthermore, the passenger’s door mirror provides additional rear visibility when parking. Just press a button and the mirror dips to bring the nearside rear wheel and pave ment into view.

Convenience

The Automatic Climate Control (ACC) also distributes cold air to the glove box, to keep soft drinks cool.

Integrated into the instrument panel is a cup holder that unfolds when you touch it. Passengers have cup holders In the rear armrest

The Saab 9-5 Saloon also has plenty of space for all your luggage. The cargo area is large and easy to load and if you need more load space, the rear seat has a 60/40 split-fold function.

Saab audio sytem AS3 features an 8 channel 240 W amplifier, it has 9 loudspaekers and an equaliser, developed especially for the 9-5
