It may seem surprising that a car which is renowned throughout the world for its superb roadholding should also offer a special kit to improve just that.

But this is fundamental to the Saab philosophy: each motorist makes different demands on the car, and fits different options and accessories.

The roadholding kit has been specially designed to compensate for any changes in the behaviour of the car, and is particularly recommended when fitting 6" x 15" wheels.

It consists of:

1. ANTI-ROLL BARS to stiffen the suspension.
   
   
2. SPECIAL SUSPENSION SPRINGS - to lower the ground clearance and thus the centre of gravity; and
   
   
3. GAS SHOCK ABSORBERS - to provide improved damping and prevent underbody damage on uneven surfaces.
