Saab 9-3 and Saab 900 (NG)

The Saab NG (New Generation) 900 was introduced in 1994 and the Saab 9-3 model in 1998. The NG900 was Saab's first 'all new' model for many years and with this came some minor teething problems, however by 1995 most of these issues had been addressed.

The Saab 9-3 was introduced as a replacement for the NG900 in 1998 and whilst they shared the same overall look the new Saab 9-3 had over 1100 improvements on the NG900. The Saab 9-3 is available as a 3/5 door hatchback or Convertible which is the biggest selling convertible in it's class in the UK today.

In September 2002 the all new 9-3 Sports Saloon / Sedan was introduced to replace the 9-3 hatchback. The new model has received rave reviews. In September 2003 Saab will be introducing it's all new 9-3 Convertible as a 2004 model.
