1. Lighting (headlamps, light clusters, other lights), alignment. Check/adjust

2. Zeroize the service indicator.

3. Oil leakage, top/bottom. Check/adjust

4. Engine: oil and oil filter. Replace

5. Brake system: pads and handbrake. Check/adjust/clean/lubricate

6. Brake system: pads and handbrake. Check/adjust

7. Gaiters, inner and outer drive-shaft universal joints. Check/adjust

8. Exhaust system and mountings: integrity and damage. Check/adjust

9. Play in steering joints and ball joints, gaiter integrity. Check/adjust

10. Tyres: inflation pressures, condition, tread depth and wear pattern (incl. spare wheel). Check/adjust

11. Fuel system, incl. tank: leaks and damage. Check/adjust

12. Cooling system: condition of hoses, check coolant level and freezing point. Check/adjust

13. Brake fluid: level (change at max. 2-years intervals). Replace

14. Automatic transmission: fluid level. Check/adjust

15. Power steering: fluid level. Check/adjust

16. Spark plugs, unleaded petrol. Replace

17. Air cleaner filter element. Replace

18. Drive belt, condition, tension, incl. automatic tensioner. Check/adjust, replace as necessary

19. Camshaft drive, timing belt (B258 - M1994-1996). Replace

20. Battery: check electrolyte level, inspect negative ground cable and positive cable to starter motor, clean and grease terminals and mounting bracket

21. Washer system: check and top up as necessary

22. Wipers. Check/adjust

23. Ventilation air filter. Replace

24. Doors, bonnet, tailgate, etc. and door keeps. Check/adjust/clean/lubricate

25. Tailgate hinges. Check/adjust/clean/lubricate

26. Seat belts: operation and strap damage. Check/adjust

27. Toe-in. Check/adjust

28. Airbag system: visual inspection of airbag module/modules

29. Road test
